Just keep the really important things (GSM for instance) isolated and accessible only by your system. Why should I care for this little world if I can explore the whole universe out there? Take the Sony Playstation as an example. Want to install linux on it? Just do it... Ah, forgot to say that you won&#39;t have access to all the hardware stuff as if you were running Sony&#39;s own operating system...etrunkohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00559157791980911254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16987833.post-10372531570804251882009-07-09T10:17:42.370-03:002009-07-09T10:17:42.370-03:00You said all my friend.<br />I&#39;m currently really disappointed with Linux scheduler and thread context switcher, for about 6 months my tests resulted in poor performance then every other plataform besides vista, even XP is faster in scheduling than Linux on actual kernels.<br />So my suggestion for Nokia is, build a new OS from BSD, like netBSD or FreeBSD, then you have at last something behind the scenes to compete with darwin/iphoneOS Kernel.Piero B.
